Accountability Citizenship presents a new paradigm of information-age citizenship for Americans: a simple system for empowering voters to survey the information stream and select quality sources of information, use critical thinking to evaluate the information those sources provide to form intelligent opinions, and hold elected officials accountable for representing the people and working for the common good. After passing the examination for his Senior Professional of Human Resources (SPHR) certification in 2012, Stephen Tryon was inspired to apply the performance management techniques he had learned in his management career to our relationship with our elected officials: the "employees" we all hire to run our local, state and federal government. To further this end, Stephen published his first book, Accountability Citizenship. and founded AccountabilityCitizenship.org in 2013.
