How can we help change asylum law's and loopholes?

Great question, Gail. In my view, there are four pieces to any solution to these issues, and one of the key pieces is fixing the laws so that they are not impossible to enforce at a reasonable cost. As with everything, my specific answer to your question is "Talk to your Representatives and Senators." The problem is that many of the people we have sent to represent us in Congress are not doing their jobs. We should have passed S.744 in 2013. There is a link to it on my web site blog page. It would have prevented a lot of the issues we are facing today.

I have contacted both of the Ohio senior and representative. It does no good. No one cares up there about the American people. It’s all talk, no action. They need to do their job and fix these loopholes and close our borders. If something isn’t done soon, we will be a third world country.
